GIBSON CO., IN (WFIE) -

The Indiana Court of Appeals has ruled that a lawsuit filed by a group of Princeton area school bus drivers should be dismissed.

Fourteen bus drivers had sued the North Gibson School Corporation, arguing that the district violated anti-trust statutes and state law governing the bidding process in their contract negotiations.

Our media partner, the Princeton Clarion, reports the appellate court ruled the bus drivers can not sue the district because it's an "improper defendant" and because the drivers could not recover any damages from the district.
