A Daviess County man was arrested on charges related to child pornography, Thursday, after the Kentucky State Police served a search warrant at his home.
51-year-old Steve J. Westerfield is charged with 10 counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor. He was booked into the Daviess County Detention Center on a $10,000.00 full cash bond.
Mr. Westerfield was arrested by the Kentucky State Police ICAC Task Force as a result of an undercover investigation into the possession and distribution of images of child sexual exploitation.
At his home detectives seized evidence believed to be used to distribute child pornography. It was taken to the Kentucky State Police forensic laboratory for examination.
Kentucky State Police is a member of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC).
