Tonight at 10: Century Aluminum defends power play

Century Aluminum officials met tonight with workers, residents and local officials to answer questions about its ongoing dispute to secure lower power rates from Big Rivers Electric. At stake...Century Aluminum says... could be hundreds of jobs at the company's Hancock County smelter.

Those favoring and opposed to city-county consolidation are speaking out tonight at a public meeting at the C.K. Newsome Center in Evansville. The controversial issue will be decided by voters on the November ballot.

Millions of Americans rely on the FDA to tell them which drugs and medical procedures are safe to use.  But critics charge the approval process is too strict and takes too long. We'll look at the debate in our medical breakthroughs report.
