HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) -

Henderson County Schools are getting ready for their second annual Home Visit Blitz.

Next Tuesday, around 800 school staffers will visit the homes of all students grades K-12.

Teachers will meet student's families, pass out school forms, and build a bond with the parents.

"By teachers coming to the homes and saying, you know, you mean this much to us, we're giving up a day. That trust starts to build and it builds before school starts. It builds outside of the classroom," said Danielle Crafton with Henderson County Schools.

The Home Visit Blitz is Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.
