A benefit was held tonight for Jessica Whetstine.
She suffered a major head injury after a motorcycle accident May 26th in Evansville.
Saturday night, friends and family gathered at Kingsmen's Event Facility to raise money for Jessica's ongoing medical expenses.
The 21-year-old Memorial High School graduate is now recovering at St. Mary's Hospital, where she worked before the accident, mostly in labor and delivery.
Her family says they continue to see improvements and say she is learning to walk.
