Fire fighters were called to a house fire in Evansville, Thursday morning.
It happened at 917 southeast 6th street.
Fire fighters say it started in the attic. One person was at home when the fire broke out.
They were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.
Because of the excessive heat, firefighters were force to take frequent breaks to try and keep cool.
