Owensboro Symphony Orchestra benefiting from donated website

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

A couple months ago Red Pixel Studios, an Owensboro web design group, held a contest where different non-profit groups submitted applications, stating why they needed a new website.

The winner?  The Owensboro Symphony Orchestra.

The site's been live for a couple weeks now and officials say they're already seeing the benefits.

Owensboro's Symphony Orchestra is a large music group for a town Owensboro's size.

With a new website donated by Red Pixel Studios, symphony officials say getting the word out about what the symphony has to offer is becoming much easier.

The website allows you to get single tickets for different concerts.  Officials say websites are how many people in the world get their information now, so having a good one is a key to success.

"I am now able to make changes instantly.  I don't have to wait to send them the info and they have the time to update it," said the symphony's Sales and Marketing Director Debbie Stites.

The first concert is on September 22nd and you can get those tickets on OSO.com. Of course, that's the new website.
