OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) - The Theater Workshop of Owensboro is putting on a fast paced show this weekend and all the proceeds go towards a good cause.
It's called "Summer Shorts", and consists of eight short plays in one night.
It's put on by roughly 20 actors and actresses and some are even from the Owensboro area.
All the plays have a central theme based on relationships and work life, but there's plenty of comedy worked in.
The cool part about this program is all the money goes towards renovations of the old TWO Opry House.
So if you're looking for a fresh take on theater, this is a great option.
The performances take place this week on Friday and Saturday (July 20-21st) at the Trinity Centre. They start at 7:30 p.m. and last roughly 2 and a half hours.
The cost is $15 per person, and it all goes toward renovations.
You can either call the box office or visit the theater's website. To learn more of get tickets, you can go to their website or give the office a call at: (270) 683-5333
