Officials responded to an accident involving a scooter at 6th and Columbia in Evansville on Tuesday evening.
Evansville Police say the scooter was heading northbound on 6th Street failing to stop at the stop sign, and running into the car that was heading westbound on Columbia.
The driver of the scooter was taken to the hospital with serious bodily injuries, but he was moving his hands and arms while being put into the back of the ambulance.
Columbia was shut down for at least an hour while police did reconstruction.
Both drivers will be blood tested, but police say no charges are expected to be filed.
