DAVIESS CO., IN (WFIE) -

A small  plane carrying only the pilot, made an emergency landing Monday morning about 11:43.

It happened after the pilot reported fuel issues.

Indiana State Police Sgt. Chad Dick says the plane landed safely without damage along I-69 near County Road 900 North, just east of 475 East. That is a portion of I-69 that is under construction.

No one was injured.

There was no disruption to traffic or danger to motorists since the roadway was not open.

The FAA is on its way to the scene to investigate.
