EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

One Tri-State teen's special 'wish' came true.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation granted 18-year-old Dakota Terry's wish was a shopping spree.

Dakota spent the afternoon at the east side Walmart picking out some electronics and a computer for school before shopping at Macy's. He tells 14 News that support from others means a lot.

"It's nice to know that, you know, people do this kind of stuff for people that has to go through stuff like this. It's really, really nice to know that people take out the time to do it," said Dakota.

Dakota says he plans to study culinary arts or criminal investigation.
