The rest of Evansville's Fitness in the Park schedule has been released. There's an event one weekend each month for the rest of the year.
The next is August 18th at Garvin Park where there will be a healthy foods demonstration.
Events in September, October, and November will be held at Howell Park, Kids Kingdom, and Lloyd Pool.
December's event is called Sweatin' with Santa, and it will be at Swonder Ice Rink.
"Number one obese city in the country. One of the goals of the administration is to become healthier, to get more fit. So we're going to clean up the city, but we're going to clean up ourselves as well," said Denise Johnson, the Parks and Recreation Executive Director.
