The New York Bagel goes Kentucky Proud


1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp chopped  Kentucky Proud dill

1 tbsp chopped Kentucky Proud chives

Stuarto's  Kentucky Proud onion salt, to taste

Pepper, to taste

4 bagels, split and toasted

½ lb Shuckman's Kentucky Proud cold smoked salmon

¼ cup capers, drained

½ small Kentucky Proud red onion, thinly shaved


Beat the cream cheese with a stand mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in the dill, chives, and a pinch of onion salt and pepper.  Spread this mixture onto toasted bagels and top with a slice of smoked salmon, capers, and red onion.  Serve open-faced or as a sandwich.
