Quilt trails all sewed up for Romp Festival

Posted: Updated:
DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE) -

There are a few new events that are part of "Romp" this year in Owensboro, including touring the barn quilt trails in Daviess County.

Designers took inspiration from a quilt and blew it up 8 by 8 feet, and placed it on a barn.

90 barns are now decorated through Daviess County and you just follow the trail to see them all.

This year's tour is part of the Romp Festival taking place this week and stops will also be made for shopping.

They're pretty spread out on the east and west.

The group will ride in a comfortable van to see all the displays over a two day period.

The group will meet at consumer mall in Daviess County on Highway 60 east Friday and Saturday.

Cost is $22 per tour or $40 for a two day pass.

Seating is limited for the van tour.

If there are any tickets left folks can check with the Owensboro-Daviess County Visitor's Bureau.
