SE KY father accused of leaving toddler in hot car

LONDON, KY (WAVE) – A Laurel County father accidentally took his toddler to work with him and ended up in jail, according to police.

Kenneth Robinson is accused of leaving his child in the car for more than two hours before he realized the toddler was in the car. The child was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in London and kept overnight for observation. The child is expected to make a full recovery.

Robinson is charged with wanton endangerment.

This story might sound familiar to residents of Kentuckiana. WAVE 3 recently reported on two similar incidents. One of them resulted in the death of 8-month-old Lincoln Lindsay in eastern Jefferson County. No charges have been filed in that case. The second incident resulted in the arrests of Tabbatha Moseley and Joseph Smith. They're accused of leaving an 8-year-old and a 15-month-old in a car unattended in Shepherdsville. Both of them are facing charges.
