Citizen tip results in Meth lab bust

BOONVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Warrick County Deputies arrested two suspects at a Clandestine Meth Lab Friday morning at approximately 1:19 a.m.

Acting on a tip from a citizen, deputies went to 1933 State Road 61 South in Boonville the residence of 47-year-old Robert Woods.

At the home, the deputies say they discovered a working Clandestine Meth Lab, suspected Methamphetamine, Precursors for manufacturing methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, and paraphernalia.

Robert H. Woods was arrested and preliminarily charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to manufacture or deliver (Class B Felony), Manufacturing Methamphetamine (Class B Felony), Possession of Precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine (Class D Felony), Possession of Methamphetamine a Schedule II Controlled Substance (Class D Felony), Maintaining a Common Nuisance (Class D Felony), Possession of Marijuana (Class A Misdemeanor), and Possession of Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor).

Also arrested at the home was 49-year-old Wendy K. Snider of Chandler Indiana. Snider was preliminarily charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance (Class B Misdemeanor).

The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was called to the residence to clean up the Lab and dispose of the Hazardous Materials.

Good hard working citizens don't like the illegal drugs and activity in their neighborhoods and would like to see the drugs suppressed. Clandestine Methamphetamine Labs cost the tax payers thousands of dollars a year in clean up and disposal costs, and are a hazard to the environment and a danger to our citizens."
