HENDERSON CO., KY (WFIE) -

Authorities are on the lookout for a robbery suspect in Henderson County this morning.

They say it happened just after 10:00 last night at Hayes Oil on Highway 41A.

City police and sheriff's detectives were called there after a clerk said a man grabbed her as she opened the door to take out the trash. They say he pointed a gun at her and ordered her to the front of the store and forced her to turn over cash.

The suspect is described as extremely slender around 6 feet tall, wearing black jeans and a black shirt. They say he had what appeared to be black panty hose pulled over his face.

A K-9 unit tracked the suspect to Winchester and Springfield drive where he dropped a black sock cap with an orange motorcycle logo on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Henderson Sheriff's Office.
