Next week, the Victoria National Golf Club will host an official PGA event, the United Leasing Golf Tournament.
At a distance of 355 yards, hole #4 is the course's second par 4, complete with two fairway bunkers, one greenside bunker, and a water hazard.
"I think you'll see a lot of irons, maybe some hybrids. A few guys will take the driver and hit it down the left side, but that obviously brings the water a little bit more in play," said club pro David Von Hoffman.
As is often the case in golf, success on four will depend upon short game play. As putting may become an adventure for some.
"The greens complex, hole #4, has got two levels. When the pin is up to the top right side, which is behind the bunkers, it's a little bit elevated, a little bit firmer, and that's definitely the tougher position. And anything in the middle half to the left is the one that the guys will want to get really close. Top right, you'll have to be a little bit more careful," Hoffman said.
Like hole #2, #4 will be a good opportunity to challenge or push an early lead. As the course will begin to take an even more hazardous turn from here.
