The United Leasing Golf Tournament will be at the Victoria National Golf Club in just under a week, and the 156 players will hit their first par 5 on Hole #3.
Players will be looking to crush the ball off the tee because of it's staggering distance of 578 yards.
"From the back tee, it's a true three shot par 5. If you can see this tee shot again as demanding water left, there's really not a lot of bail out room right, so it's another tough tee ball," said club pro, David Von Hoffman.
Hoffman says even if players can manage to achieve a decent lie off the tee, they will likely still face a blind green as the hole bends to the right.
"You can only see a very small portion of this green, even from a 100 yards, which is unique for a par 5. The green is very quick from front to back. One of the few greens that is sloped from the fairway to the back," Hoffman said.
But if players can overcome the initial demand of this par 5, a shot at birdie is realistic.
