GIBSON COUNTY, IN (WFIE) -

A Love's gas station in Gibson county is now a crime scene after a Tuesday afternoon suicide.

It happened around noon in the parking lot of the station at I-64 and Hwy 41.

Gibson County Sheriff's Office says 23-year-old Michael Eduard Bledsoe of Independence, Missouri, drove into the parking lot and smoked a cigarette in his car. He then got out of the vehicle, pulled a gun, and shot himself in the head.

The Gibson County Coroner says Bledsoe died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The coroner says they still have no reason as to why he did this and it's not known how many people witnessed the act.
