It looks like Princeton will have a new part time clerk in the water department.
According to our media partner, The Daily Clarion, a compromise, to hire only a part-time clerk, passed its first hurdle Monday as the Princeton Common Council approved it by a 3-2 vote.
Water Superintendent J.B. Brines' has been pleading with the council to allow a full-time worker dedicated only to meeting crucial paperwork demands from the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
