KENTUCKY (WFIE) -

A lawsuit filed after a tour bus cash in Kentucky claims the driver was operating the bus in a "crazed manner".

The lawsuit says the driver identified as Timothy P. Saum of Evansville, had been drinking high-energy drinks, and was driving too fast for the country road where the accident happened on June 6th.

The bus was carrying adults and students from an elementary school to Washington, D.C., and about two dozen people were hurt.

The suit was filed in Hart County Circuit Court on behalf of three students against the driver and New Image Travel, the bus company based in Evansville.
