UPDATE, 1PM: The severe thunderstorm warning has expired. However, the small line of storms that prompted the warning has moved into northwest Warrick County. Residents of Elberfeld and Lynnville should be alert to the possibility of severe weather.
UPDATE, 12:45PM: The severe thunderstorm warning for Vanderburgh County has been extended until 1pm CDT Wednesday.
EARLIER: The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Vanderburgh County until 12:45pm Wednesday.
A small line of thunderstorms is pushing through Posey County at 12:15pm CDT. Some individual storm cells are producing damaging winds. Movement of the storms is northeast at 20 mph. Penny to nickel size hail is expected. You should take cover in a substantial shelter.
