The next session of art camps at the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art is now open for registration.
The camps are filling up fast at the museum.
Organizers say children must get pre-registered to attend and there was already a waiting list for the camp that just started this week.
Children are in the middle of one now and are working on different painting techniques.
The next starts July 23 and the theme is "Wired for Fun".
A professional sculptor will help children make three dimensional objects from wire.
The sooner folks can get registered the better to avoid a waiting list.
Mary Brian-Hood with the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art said, "It's a great opportunity for regional children to be able to come and receive free instruction from professional artists that's a rare commodity in it of itself."
The best part of all the activities and sessions is that they're free.
It's simple an application for each child that needs to be filled out.
