Was Weather A Factor In F-16 Crash?

There was some stormy weather at the time of the mid-air collision, causing speculation.

Isolated thunderstorms had popped up across much of Lawrence and Knox counties around 1:30 Monday afternoon when the planes collided.

We won't know the true cause of the crash until the investigation is complete, but Newswatch's Ann Komis reported much lightening in the area when she arrived at the scene.
