EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

The second annual Crop for Literacy, a scrapbooking event, will take place on Saturday, July 7th morning at Kingmen's Event Facility.

Crop for Literacy is a fund/friend raising event to benefit the Literacy Center's Basic Adult Literacy Program.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 7th with check in beginning at 9:00 a.m. and food, fun, prizes, make and takes throughout the day until 9:00 p.m. The 12 hours of non-stop crafting fun table space is only $25 per participant.

There will be attendance prizes for everyone and lots of raffle prizes.  The grand prize will be an overnight stay at French Lick Resort.

The staff and committee are excited about the event being 12 hours of cropping/crafting time for the participants and are thrilled to have the unique and wonderful air-conditioned Kingmen's Event Facility to hold the event.
