Burchett, died after two F-16 fighter jets collided Monday. Spokesman Jonathan Swain says Burchett was a husband and father. Burchett was originally from Indiana but moved to Tennessee with his family to take a job. He came back to Indiana to serve in the Indiana Air National Guard. Another pilot parachuted to safety and was hospitalized. That pilot's name was not immediately released. The two jets were from the Terre Haute-based 181st Fighter Wing. They were on routine training in airspace reserved for military training. Debris fell in a five mile area on both sides of the Wabash River, which forms the border between southwestern Indiana and southeastern Illinois. Source: AP, All Rights Reserved.
