Central dispatch has confirmed to 14 News that fire crews responded to the 600 block of Jackson Avenue and the 600 block of Monroe Avenue for reports of multiple fires in alleyways.
Witnesses say someone lit multiple mattresses on fire and there was a report of a separate large pit fire.
Jackson and Monroe are just off Garvin Street.
We can now confirm the firefighters have just finished putting out the fires and are leaving the scene.
Firefighters say the mattresses were small and were similar to the ones set earlier this week.
