Emergency crews rush to save office building from burning

Dozens of firefighters were called to a scene at Columbia and Weinbach around 4:20 Friday afternoon.

Firefighters said they could see flames coming from the back of the structure at 503 N. Weinbach when they arrived.

We're told that offices for Baker Auction and Reality were in the building.

One worker was in the business when the fire started.

A neighbor who saw the flames ran over with a water hose to try and stop the flames from spreading.

Evansville Police officers were also called to the scene to help with traffic control. Weinbach from Columbia to Michigan is blocked to traffic.
