OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -
Today is the last day to turn in proposals for the old National Guard Armory in Owensboro.
Individuals, companies or organizations interested in using the building on West Parrish Avenue must submit documentation by Friday afternoon.
The new armory was dedicated earlier this week on Tamarack. It is officially open now.
City leaders want anyone with a project idea involving the use of this building to turn them in Friday. The city says they're looking for a project that would serve the public.
In the past, different organizations like Tennis groups and the Munday senior center showed interest.
Applications are on file in the purchasing department at city hall, Room 119.
All bids must be delivered before 3 p.m.
The city will then open and read the bids publicly.
