WARRICK CO., IN (WFIE) -

There's a delay for residents in Boonville wanting to see demolition of a damaged home.

On Tuesday night, Warrick County Commissioners announced the county engineer will have to review two bids for the demolition of a home in the Quail Crossing Subdivision.

Six and a half years ago, the home on Persimmon Circle started slowly collapsing from mine subsidence.

Neighbors say the vacant home has become an eyesore and safety threat for the subdivision.

Commissioners say they plan to award a contract at their June 11th meeting, with demolition starting June 12th.
