Evansville Police detained a man after an altercation outside of a bar near the Delaware and Main intersection on Sunday night.
34-year-old Donald Elderbrook is accused of running over a man while driving drunk.
Police say it started with a fight outside of a bar, and the victim was hit with a lead pipe, then hit by a car.
They say Elderbrook sped away in his car. He was later arrested on East Franklin Street.
The condition of the victim is unknown. Elderbrook is in jail without bond.
