Authorities responded to deadly accident on I-64 in Spencer County on Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-64, just east of Highway 231 in Dale.
The Spencer County Sheriff's Office says one man was killed and four others hurt, when the back left tire blew-out on their vehicle, which caused the driver to lose control. Deputies say the vehicle went off the roadway and flipped at least five times.
Three people were transported to a hospital in Evansville, and another was taken to a hospital in Jasper.
The name of the man killed has not yet been released.
