You will soon hear the call "All Aboard!" in Jasper. The "Spirit of Jasper" is once again hosting trips all around Southwest Indiana.
Passengers can ride and dine in the luxury train during the summer. Destinations include Dubois, Cuzco, and French Lick.
Passengers can enjoy food in the dining car catered by the Schnitzelbank, and there is a bar and lounge on board.
Mayor Terry Seitz says the train helps put Dubois County on the map for tourism, among travel destinations like Santa Claus and French Lick. "Jasper being the largest city among them will also draw from them, from shopping and dining and also for again - building our own mass," Seitz said.
