What happened to Evansville's "other" Main Street?

You have a chance to find out in a new program Willard Library is offering this Thursday in commemoration of Evansville Historic Preservation Month.

Evansville's '"Other" Main Street: A Historical Overview of the North Main Street District will be offered on THursday May 24, at 6:00 p.m. on the second floor.  

Willard Archivist Patricia Sides will show a selection of images from the Library's collection that highlight some of the commercial and residential buildings, churches, schools, and sites in this historic district, beginning in the late nineteenth-century.

 The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are appreciated due to limited seating; you may register online here, or by calling the Library at (812) 425-4309, ext. 114.
