A vote to rescind the loan to Earthcare Energy was tabled at the city council meeting on Monday night.
The council was expected to vote on whether or not to allow that $4.8 million loan to be available to the energy company if the company rekindled its agreement with the city.
Council members say the decision to table the vote was for two reasons. First, not all the council members were present. Secondly, city council members say they just received a packet of information for the company's chairman Ken Haney.
Council members say in that packet are responses to the accusations against them, and council members say they'd like more time to review it.
