Thousands of jobs to be offered at Hoosier Job Fair

INDIANAPOLIS (WFIE) -

Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) today announced that 101 employers offering over 3,800 jobs have confirmed their participation in the 2012 Hoosier Job Fair on Wednesday, May 30 in Lafayette.

Employers in attendance will include CSX Railroad, Community Health Network, the Indiana State Police, Frito-Lay, Purdue University, RR Donnelly, Rolls-Royce, the State of Indiana, Valeo and Wabash National.

"I invite all Indiana residents interested in finding a job or considering a career change to attend the upcoming Hoosier Job Fair," said Coats. "I am extremely pleased that each week more Hoosier employers are contacting my office wanting to participate in the Job Fair and meet potential employees."

"The opportunities at the Hoosier Job Fair for unemployed or underemployed workers are increasing with each passing day," said Coats. "I hope all Hoosiers interested in a new job will be in attendance on May 30."

Admission to the job fair is free for attendees and no pre-registration is needed.

The event is being held on Wednesday, May 30 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET at the Tippecanoe County Fairgrounds West Pavilion in Lafayette, IN.
