EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

The big hydro planes are gone from the Ohio River, but the city still hosts the Little Thunder Regatta at Eagle Crest Lake.

The drivers were busy revving their engines Friday, getting ready for Saturday's races.

The River City Racing Club has hosted this for 32 years.

Racing is Saturday and Sunday, starting at 9:00 a.m. each morning, it's free and open to the public.
