EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Evansville Police arrested 21 year old Adonis Weathers after being called to assist an ambulance crew. AMR had been dispatched on a medical run after a motorist saw Weathers jump from his bike and run into traffic. EPD was dispatched as well due to Weathers' behavior.

Weathers told officers he had experienced a vision that led him to believe he was going to die. Officers say he was delusional and was seeing things that were not there. Officers were able to determine Weathers had smoked the synthetic drug "K-2" earlier in the day. He appeared to be having a very bad reaction to the K-2.

Weathers was arrested for Public Intoxication. While checking the bike Weathers had been riding, officers discovered it had been reported stolen from a south side home in 2010. He was also charged with Receiving Stolen Property.

Officers say this is reminder of the danger of synthetic drugs.
