WASHINGTON (CNN) - Tareq Salahi's 15 minutes of fame may extend into 2013.
The man most famous for crashing a White House state dinner with his then-wife Michaele in 2009, and then for his wife leaving him for Journey guitarist Neal Schon, may run for governor of Virginia.
Salahi is "announcing his consideration as a candidate," according to a statement from his representative.
Salahi says he believes in limited government and keeping taxes, regulation and litigation low.
The election is a year-and-a-half from now.
