Help 14 News fight the War on Hunger

On Friday, April 20th, 14 News is teaming up with the Salvation Army to help fight the War on Hunger. We will be at the Schnucks West location (4500 West Lloyd, Evansville) all day long collecting food items from people in the Tri-State.

We really believe in this cause and need your help to make this a success.

Employees of 14 News will be filling up a shopping cart with food items at the station and will be going on-air to challenge our viewers to do the same. They can do that by gathering items at their place of work or at their home and taking them to Schnucks on Friday.

Let's set a good example for our community and see how many times we can fill up that cart!

What should you bring?
Any non-perishable foods-Canned veggies, soups, fruits and meats.  Pasta, spaghetti, marinara sauce, pasta dishes, boxed dinners, cereals, rice. dry beans, peanut butter, jelly, dried soup mixes, pancake mixes, sugar, stuffing mixes, mashed potatoes, jiffy corn muffin mix, ramon noodles, all sizes of children's diapers.
