Whitney Houston 911 caller: "She wasn't breathing"

Posted: Updated:

(RNN) - TMZ has obtained a 911 call placed by an employee of the hotel where Whitney Houston was staying the night she died.

The person, identified as a member of the Beverly Hilton security team, requested a paramedic for a "46-year-old female found in the bathroom" who wasn't breathing.

He said an "irate" woman called security to alert them, but that she kept hanging up.

The security officer didn't identify Houston by name.

"I'm not sure if she fell or if she was in the bathroom with the water," he said.

The dispatcher said they would send responders to the scene.

Houston was found by an assistant submerged in a bathtub in her hotel room on Feb. 11, the night before the Grammy's. An autopsy report shows the cause of death as accidental drowning but lists heart disease and cocaine use as contributing factors.

Houston was 48 years old.
