Driver seriously hurt after head-on crash in Pike Co.

PIKE CO, IN (WFIE) -

A head-on crash injured drivers in both vehicles Monday in Pike County.

Indiana State Police say it happened at Indiana 64 and 257 when a car drove left of the center line and struck a tractor-trailer rig.

Troopers say the driver of the car, 51-year-old Jeffrey Kline of Ferdinand, was seriously hurt and taken by helicopter to St. Mary's Medical Center.

The truck driver, 50-year-old Carl Boswell of Utica, Kentucky, was also transferred to an Evansville hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
