The Kentucky Derby Festival is pleased to announce its national concert lineup for Kroger's Festival on the Waterfront for the 2012 Derby Festival. Admission to all shows is a 2012 Pegasus Pin. On Saturday, April 28, veteran rocker Eddie Money will headline the Sonic Saturday show at 9 p.m. (Admission to Eddie Money is free to any runner with a finisher's medal from that day's Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon/miniMarathon presented by Walmart.)
Celebration Sunday on April 29 features a trio of Christian rock acts - Jonny Diaz at 5 p.m.; Chris Sligh at 6 p.m.; and Building 429 at 7 p.m. On Tuesday, May 1, the RhythmFest show features George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic at 9 p.m. On Wednesday, May 2, Walk The Moon will appear with special guest Ha Ha Tonka at 7 p.m. Tune It Up Thursday on May 3 will feature AWOLNATION in concert at 9 p.m. The Derby Eve Jam on Friday, May 4, will close out the weeks musical entertainment with a performance by the Charlie Daniels Band with guest The HillBenders at 8 p.m.
