Kentucky lawmakers have passed a bill to place strict limits on the purchase of over-the-counter cold and allergy medications that contain pseudoephedrine, a key ingredient in the manufacture of meth.
The bill would allow customers to purchase two boxes of the medications per month.
People who need more would have to get a prescription.
Governor Steve Beshear said this afternoon, he would sign the bill into law.
