LAWRENCEBURG, IN (FOX19) -

A Dearborn County woman accused of leaving her morbidly obese sister alive and decomposing in a chair for three weeks was in court Tuesday.

Vickie Holdcraft, 58, turned herself in after a Dearborn County Grand Jury indicted her on charges of reckless homicide, neglect and perjury.

Prosecutors say 61-year-old Priscilla Frieberger died in October after spending the last three weeks of her life stuck alive decomposing in a brown cloth recliner in the Lawrenceburg home she shared with Holdcraft.

Holdcraft has since bonded out of jail, but was in court Tuesday to schedule a status hearing for June 14.
