67 year-old Oscar Dallas Fingers of Evansville is in critical condition after authorities say his motorcycle collided with a car.

The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to an accident with injuries on State Road 57 and Boonville New Harmony Road at 7:17 p.m. Sunday.

Upon arrival, deputies determined a Toyota Corolla and a Harley Davidson Motorcycle had collided.

The Toyota was driven by Terry Culiver, 50, of Evansville.

The motorcycle was driven by Oscar Fingers, 67, of Evansville.

The Sheriff's Office says Culiver was driving westbound on Boonville New Harmony Road when he pulled out in front of Fingers who was going south on State Road 57.

Authorities say the motorcycle struck the right rear corner of the Toyota, and the impact caused the motorcycle to fall onto its side and eject the driver.

Fingers was airlifted to St. Mary's Medical Center.

He sustained multiple injuries including a head injury.

Authorities say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Culiver was not hurt.
