EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -

Traffic Alert: Evansville Police are on the scene of an accident at the Lloyd Expressway and Cross Pointe Boulevard. According to officials, traffic is open and moving smoothly on the Lloyd, but the backups on Cross Pointe will continue.

Authorities have been on the scene since around 2 o'clock. There's no definitive word on injuries yet, but we do know that two ambulances were called to the scene.

We'll update you with more information as we get it.
