Motorists traveling on Interstate 64 Wednesday, should expect maintenance crews to be out working.
The Indiana Department of Transportation says there will be temporary lane restrictions on Interstate 64 in Posey County. The west bound driving lane will be closed on Wednesday, February 22 from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with weather permitting.
INDOT maintenance crews will be repairing the embankment on I-64 at mile marker 7. This work zone will be located between State Road 69,Exit 4, and State Road 165, Exit 12.
INDOT reminds motorists to follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone.
