Record turnout at Owensboro's Polar Plunge

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

There was a record turnout at Owensboro's Polar Plunge Saturday.

Over 230 people took part in the event at the Hines Center, including some law enforcement officers from FOP Lodge #16, who were dressed as their favorite wrestlers.

14 News is told over $55,000 was raised, $3,200 of that from the FOP Lodge alone.

All of the money that was raised goes to benefit Special Olympics.
